Sequel Presents: how to engage employees in this new world of work

Webinar on Thursday 4 February, 11 – 11.30am

Engaging employees in a hybrid working world is a hot topic for communicators right now. With workforces more diverse than ever before, how can we ensure people share ideas, collaborate and prosper – both individually and as teams – and drive business performance?

Based on one of the key topics discussed in Sequel’s Trends Report 2021, now in its 8th year of publication, lockdown learning, cohesive collaboration and effective employee engagement will be the focus of attention at our next Sequel Presents: A Coffee With webinar on 4 February.

Sequel’s Head of Insight, Paul Jones, will be joined by communication expert Gihan Hyde. Gihan will use her experience of working with leadership teams at M&S, HSBC and Barclays Bank to share her ideas on how to get the most out of the new modern workplace. She will also talk about out how organisations can remain agile and innovative and how communicators can facilitate a new era of corporate thinking.

Gihan says: “If organisations are to survive and prosper post pandemic, they will rely on the right talent with the right skills able to work in an agile way.

“But as the UK endures its third lockdown, the opportunities to upskill and learn from each other through the sharing of ideas are proving difficult to find.

“Difficult – but not impossible – communicators hold the key to an innovative future and ensuring new ways of collaboration are adopted should be a prime responsibility of internal communicators and HR professionals.”
