Communicate Magazine ICE Awards hat-trick for Sequel

We had a fantastic evening at the Communicate Magazine Internal Communications and Engagement (ICE) Awards 2022 in London on 6 July, especially as our client work won a Gold and two Silver trophies.

1. OVO Energy wins a Gold trophy for ‘Best internal communications from the energy and utilities sector’

Our digital Wall of Things for OVO Energy snapped up a Gold trophy for Best internal communications from the energy and utilities sector for the innovative way it connects people and fosters community spirit.

The Wall of Things enables employees to post photos and videos and share their stories about different themes throughout the year. For instance, it became a Wall of Pledges in January so people could post their environmental new year resolutions and a Pride Wall in June.

2. White & Case wins a Silver award for ‘Best internal publication: digital’

A quarterly digital magazine we create for Global law firm White & Case won a Silver trophy for Best internal publication: digital.

Slick, stylish and interactive, The Reporter Quarterly brings content to life through written word, video, illustration, infographics and dynamic photography.

Already a multi-award-winning communication tool, the ezine reaches 5,000 people across the world, making them feel proud to be part of the Firm by reflecting the global scope of the business and showing how each country or practice area contributes.

3. Nespresso wins a Silver awards for ‘Best internal communications from the FMCG sector’

Change is never easy so, when Nespresso needed to communicate an HQ move to its employees, we were delighted to help create a dynamic SharePoint hub which won the Best internal communications from the FMCG sector category.

The N was launched shortly after the move was announced to prepare colleagues for the relocation with regular news and information covering F&B (Food & Beverage) provision, parking, commuting, sustainability and videos showing building work in progress. The site grew as more information became available, including the history of the building information about where people would sit, updates on meeting rooms and collaborative spaces, and how the new space would support creativity, innovation and productivity fuelled by a love of coffee.
