Milestone moment for emailer


It’s not often these days that a regular corporate newsletter makes it to 100 issues but that’s the milestone recently reached by the emailer for employees at leading funeral provider Dignity.

Originally introduced to drive traffic to a SharePoint site informing employees about a transformation programme, Dignity Inside has since evolved both in design and content to become a fortnightly PDF newsletter communicating wider business issues.

Along with the ‘need to know’ information the UK’s second largest funeral service provider shares with colleagues, Dignity Inside also takes a sideways look at life with features in the landmark 100th edition including ‘Thank you for the music’ – a look at the most commonly chosen music for funerals.

The newsletter strikes a healthy balance between industry news and care for its people, with information about Competition and Market Authority regulations rubbing shoulders with practical information like keeping heating bills down.
