Sequel winners of Best Use of Digital in impact awards

We’re thrilled to have won two awards at the prestigious Digital Impact Awards, for two very different projects.

We won Gold for The Reporter Quarterly, an online magazine for White & Case, in the category ‘Best use of digital from the professional services sector’, while the experiential online community posting platform, the Wall of Things for OVO Energy, won Silver in the category for ‘Best use of digital from the energy and utilities sector’.

The Reporter Quarterly is a flagship publication for international law company White & Case. The online magazine reaches 5,000 people across the world, making them feel proud to be part of the Firm. It covers the key issues facing the business, complementing a daily intranet channel, to give employees an in-depth picture of the stories and people behind the news.

The publication has won multiple awards for writing, design and digital innovation, including eight Golds in the Institute of Internal Communication and Digital Impact Awards and three Silvers in the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards in the past four years.

The hugely popular and evolving Wall of Things for OVO is an online platform where people can post photos and videos about how they’re protecting the environment and supporting their communities. In the week after it went live, more than 20% of OVO employees registered to access the Wall and there were quickly more than 500 posts.

The Digital Impact Awards honour the very best in corporate digital communications. Communicate magazine said this year’s entries were of an incredibly impressive calibre; they were measured across deliverables, social media, specific audiences, evaluation method and sector.

You can see all winners on the Awards website.

Meanwhile, two of our projects have also been shortlisted for the FEIEA Awards for outstanding European internal communications: The Reporter Quarterly in the Best Digital Platform category and our Good to Great campaign for Dignity in the Best IC Change Strategy Campaign category.
